Sedlescombe annual fayre is set to return next week following a break last year.
The popular event returns on the sports field on Saturday, July 18, at 2pm, with free parking and free entry.
Chris Campbell and Pumphouse Designs are sponsoring the event, organised in support of village groups and charities.
Groups taking part on the day include Sedlescombe Sports Association, School, The Queens Head, K9 Rescue dogs, Pestalozzi, Battle Lions, Sedlescombe Flower Club, Sedlescombe Green WI, St John the Baptist Parish church and Friends of the Church, Sedlescombe cricket club, Sedlescombe football club, Sedlescombe Preschool and Friends of Sedlescombe School.
Many of the old favourites including a coconut shy, crockery smashing, and human fruit machine will be joined by new attractions like ‘guess the weight of the dog’ run by the Royal British Legion.
The village geese will also have a starring role in Guess where the Goose will Poop, offering visitors the chance to win £500.
A Grand Draw will take place at the end of the afternoon with prizes donated by the Brickwall Hotel, Clockhouse Hair and Beauty studio, Sedlescombe Fitness, the Big Green Cardigan Festival, Sedlescombe Stores, Pashley Manor, Sedlescombe Vineyard, Carr Taylor Vineyard, Vicarys garage and Bridge garage, plus Jonathan Vine-Hall, Western riding European Gold Medallist
Sedlescombe and District Gardening Society summer show will also be taking place in a marquee.
The sports pavilion will be serving refreshments throughout the afternoon, all provided by staff and volunteers from St Michaels Hospice with funds raised going directly to the charity.
