The A27 has been closed in both directions in Polegate this morning (June 4) after a 'serious collision'.
A tweet from Sussex Police said the road is expected to be closed for some time, so drivers are asked to avoid the area.
According to reports, the collision involved a van and a car between The Sreet (Arlington/Litlington turn-off) and the A2270 Eastbourne Road, just before the Folkington Manor turn-off.
