Victor Lyne: The service for the late Victor Lyne takes place today the 22nd April at 11am at St Giles Church, Bodiam and after at the Castle Inn Bodiam.

Phyllis Landels: Sorry to say dear friend and great help to many Phyllis Landels is not in the best of health, she will try and keep her home at Levetts Lane. We all hope that Phyllis will not go into a home but if she does we will have her out for a few hours at Christmas but if she is in a home who will get the Lotto and the papers for people? She would be a great loss to Bodiam and the bus service for the village, I have to help her on to the 349 sometimes.

The Parish Council: meet on the 25th April at 7pm in the Parish Room, it would be good to see some people of Bodiam turn out, you can see members like Graham, Barbara, Janet, Richard, Geoffrey and Sue, Angharad and Graham form Hurst Green and after you could go to the Castle Inn for a good drink but walk down as you must walk home after.
