CHILDREN at Shoreham College donned jeans for the day to raise money for charity.

Students at the college, in St Julian’s Lane, enjoyed a change from their uniform, wearing jeans for a small donation to the charity.

A college spokesman said it was the fourth year in succession the college had taken part in the event and a total of £830 was raised, beating the £650 donated last year.

Jeans for Genes Day raises money for Genetic Disorders UK, the charity that aims to transform the lives of children with genetic disorders.
