The Scout group has been running continually since 1909 and has met in several buildings in Rye over its long and successful history.

The Scout Group has had numerous articles in the local press over the years and has seen many boys and now boys and girls enjoy fun and adventure while taking part in scouting.

On July 2, 2016, 1st Rye Scout Group are having the grand opening of their new building Rye Scout Centre, The Grove, Rye, TN31 7ND.
