More than 100 people turned out to support a Cream Tea Fundraiser organised by local charity MOPP at Fairlight Village Hall.

Entertainment was provided by Sharon Sellens, Carol George and MOPP’s Chairman Jim Saphin. The original idea was to celebrate the Queen’s 90th birthday but the event £802 for the charity. Jim Saphin said ”We are particularly grateful to Sainsbury’s who not only donated scones, cream and jam but also provided volunteers from the store to help us on the day”.
