Man hospitalised after Burwash telegraph pole crash

A man was taken to hospital after a car crashed into a telegraph pole in Burwash yesterday (Tuesday, March 14).

Emergency services were sent to School Hill following reports of a crash at around 6pm.

A man aged approximately in his 50s was assessed and treated before being taken to Conquest Hospital, a South East Coast Ambulance Service spokesman said.

An East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service crew from Burwash made the scene safe. One ambulance attended the incident.
