Staff and the cafe owners have joined customers in raising a glass to mark the occasion this week and say they are thrilled at the overwhelmingly positive feedback from residents.
Villagers have supported the Crate Cafe and Bar in Delling Lane and in return a real sense of community has been created -- with groups regularly meeting at the Broadbridge Business Centre venue, from dog walkers to new parents.

Hide AdAlex Clark, one of the co-owners alongside his partner Alice Priestly, and father and daughter Luke and Yasmin Hillman, says the fraternity that has emerged at the cafe has been a huge bonus over the past two years and has brought a welcome sense of public-spirited identity.
He added: "First of all we can't thank the people of Bosham enough for their support and custom, which has been off the scale. It's fair to say we have grown as a business remarkably, both commercially but perhaps more importantly as a place where our community comes together."
Yasmin believes the vibe at the cafe is a real bonus and lends itself to the success enjoyed since opening the doors for business. She added: "We very much wanted it to be the place people could come to for excellent food at lunch time or in the evening and be able to bump into friends -- or make new ones -- and both have happened, which is fantastic!"
Marge Trent, a keen walker, says having the cafe nearby is perfect for meeting friends before they head off on a yomp, adding: "You are made to feel immediately at home by the lovely staff and it's perfect to meet there and then finish off our walks there too, for some well-deserved refreshment.

The upbeat mood and real sense of community is such a great thing. Well done to all at the Crate for adding so much to our area.”
