Good news: we in Bodiam have two very good news publications. The Battle Observer and the Parish News that is published 10 times a year January/December and July/August being the double months. It is on sale at St Giles Church and the Castle inn. Contact Liz Moore on (01580) 752052 for more information and advertising director is Peter Smith phone (01580) 830857. The Parish News goes to the printer on the 10th or 11th of the month.

Helpers: we have good people in Bodiam who help people out - Pam Marsh is one of them. Every time the racehorse Marsh Pride goes we all do it. I was away the other week and it went in the 3 o’clock at Doncaster. Marsh Pride was unplaced. I do hope it will not be like George Bailey the racehorse! George was the number one at Bodiam Castle.
