Two injured in Rye Harbour parked car crash

Two people were injured after a car crashed into a parked vehicle in Rye Harbour last night (Tuesday, August 9).

A man and a woman in their 40s were walking wounded after the crash on Harbour Road.

Paramedics were called at around 9.40pm and treated the casualties at the scene.

A South East Coast Ambulance Service spokesman said an ambulance went to the Conquest Hospital but did know whether both or just one of the casualties were taken.

East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service crews from Rye and Broad Oak were also sent to the scene.
